This guide is split into clear, step-by-step sections for a smooth, successful setup.
Follow every step carefully. Skipping a step is the most common cause of setup failures.
To stay as safe as possible, rely mostly on ESP and only use the more obvious features here and there.

1. Getting Started

Disable Windows Defender

Antivirus often flags game cheats as suspicious because they inject code into the game to enable features like aimbot or ESP. This is normal for all cheat software — it is not a sign that Anchor Cheats is unsafe.
Fully disabling Defender is done with DControl (Defender Control). But first you must manually turn off Defender’s real-time protection — otherwise Windows will block or delete DControl before you can run it.

Turn off real-time protection first

Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings and turn off Real-time protection (and the other toggles). This lets you download and run DControl without it being blocked or deleted.

Install WinRAR

Download and install WinRAR. You need it to extract the DControl archive.

Download DControl

Download DControl (Defender Control).

Extract the archive

Right-click the downloaded .rar and extract it. When asked for a password, enter sordum.

Disable Windows Defender

Open dControl.exe and click Disable Windows Defender. The window turns red when Defender is off.

DControl turns off real-time Defender, but a few Windows Security options are separate. Turn these off too:

Turn off Exploit protection

Open Windows Security → App & browser control → Exploit protection settings and set every option to Off by default.

Turn off Reputation-based protection

Go to App & browser control → Reputation-based protection settings and turn off all options.

2. Set up the overlay

The external build renders through the SteelSeries overlay, so it must be installed and running before you inject. Download SteelSeries GG, then launch it once so it runs in the background.

3. Download the loader

Download the loader from the link below, then run it as administrator: https://cheezit.life/
Your license key is in your client area or order email — enter it in the loader on first launch.

4. Inject & launch

Run the loader

Run the loader as administrator, then log in or register with your license key.

Inject

Press Inject. If the loader says “Please launch SteelSeriesGG”, run SteelSeries, then continue.

Open Rust

When the loader tells you to open the game, launch Rust and start dominating.

Common errors

Most issues are fixed with basic troubleshooting: restart your PC, re-download the loader, and try again. Try these before contacting support.
Disable any VPN/proxy during launch, allow the loader through your firewall, and run it as administrator. Re-download the loader if it persists.
Fully disable Defender (use DControl), close any antivirus, restart your PC, then run the loader as administrator.
An anti-cheat or antivirus is still active. Re-check every step in Disable Windows Defender, uninstall third-party AV, restart, and try again.
Make sure DirectX and the Visual C++ redistributable are installed, run the loader as administrator, and re-download it if the code persists.
Cap your in-game FPS, close heavy background apps, and make sure SteelSeries GG is running. Lowering ESP draw distance also helps.
Reinstall SteelSeries GG, run it as administrator, and launch it before the loader. Make sure it’s fully started before you inject.
